This fix should be applied to version 15.50B installations of Model Manager on Microsoft Windows platforms.
The zip file contains this readme and numerous new files containing the various patches listed above. It also contains debug/WorkManager.jar and debug/WorkManager-src.jar for developmental reference.
Note: It may be desirable to make a backup copy of the existing files for easy future reference or so you can roll back the patch. To do this, copy the files to another directory. Do not simply rename the existing files as the renamed jar/WorkManager.jar could conflict with this new jar/WorkManager.jar.
On Microsoft Windows, the Software Distribution Server is used to distribute the patches to ModelManager installations.
Note: The OneSpace Manager Administrator 2007 Guide provides general information for using the Software Distribution Server.
Using Windows Explorer, browse to the directory which contains the installed OneSpace Manager client and Software Distribution Server and place a copy of the patch zip archive in that directory:
For example: C:\Program Files\CoCreate\OneSpace Manager 2007
Extract the zip archive to that directory. A list of the files replaced by this operation are listed near the end of this document.
To create a new ModelManagerSetup.exe for the Software
Distribution Server, run clntwin\mmbuild.bat
The following file
will be created:
C:\Program Files\CoCreate\OneSpace Manager 2007\Apache\htdocs\ModelManagerSetup.exe
When Model Manager clients are started, they should detect this new setup file through the Software Distribution Server and update themselves.
You should test the installation before you allow users on the system.
The installation will replace the following files:
