This document contains information that may not be included in the documentation for Model Manager Plus 2006 (14.50). Please read this document before installing the product for any last minute information.
Model Manager Plus 14.50 contains fixes for several defects. Click on the link to get more information about the fixed defects.
Model Manager Plus 2006 is now installed together with standard Model Manager. Please install the Model Manager Plus setup package into the One Space Manager directory and then run the build script to get a new installation package for Model Manager. This will then contain Model Manager Plus.
The
complete configuration of Model Manager Plus is now done on the
server side. See Model Manager PLUS Installation and
Administration for 14.50 for details.
You no longer need
to set the environment variable MMPLUSCALLPROG with version 14.50.
You will now be prompted during the Model Manager installation
whether you also want to install Model Manager Plus or not.
If you're using Microsoft Word as the email editor in Outlook you need to shutdown Outlook before you install Model Manger.
The
Office integration comes with macro files that are located in
...\Program
Files\CoCreate\Shared\Model Manager
2006\MSOffice\Startup\mmplus.dot.
...\Program
Files\CoCreate\Shared\Model Manager
2006\MSOffice\Xlstart\mmoffice.xla.
During the
installation of Model Manager the files are copied into to the
following destination directories
...\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\STARTUP
...\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\XLSTART
Under certain circumstances this copy fails,
especially when the user who installs Model Manager is not member of
the group 'Power User'.
Please check after the installation
whether the macro files have correctly been copied to the macro
directories. If not please copy the files manually.
When closing Word it is in some cases possible that Word prompts you for saving the mmplus.dot file, click yes to confirm.
When
running Model Manager in debug mode you might see the following
message:
'com.neva.DdeException
ddeError=0x-4 - Execution failure: DdeConnect doesn't return (see MS
Q136218)'.
This error message can be ignored.
